Winemaking: The Unconventional Way

Grapes
As vineyards are rare in Malaysia (they do exist!), we source our grapes from overseas regions such as California, Chile, Italy and Spain. These are delivered to us in the form of concentrated natural juices which then go through the fermentation process at our winery in Kajang/ Semenyih.

Did you know? Wine can be produced from a variety of fruit juices, such as, berries, coconut, currants, durian, pineapple and plum. Our very own founder and winemaker lead this company into the sustainable business it is today by pioneering this unique winemaking practice using locally harvested and produced star fruit juice!

Fermentation, Ageing, Distillation
Due to the nature of the grape juice concentrate we source, we use cultured yeast to facilitate and enhance the fermentation process. These are done in tanks ranging from 1,000 litres to 50,000 litres. Some of our wines are barrel aged but the younger wines have been our best sellers. They are semi-sweet to sweet in taste and fruitier in aroma.

In addition to winemaking, we also produce brandy by distilling our in-house wines using a self-crafted distillation system. From brandy, we can produce a wide range of liqueur infused with flowers, fruits, herbs and spices.

Finished Goods
We produce bulk wine and brandy to some of the largest bottlers in Malaysia and contract manufacture herbal wine and liqueur products to Malaysia's leading Traditional Chinese Medicine retailers. Our house-brand wines and liqueur can be purchased directly from our winery. Find out more on the Products page for our best sellers and limited editions.
